The following drop-in centres offer children, adolescents, their parents or other attachment persons personal crisis support and where necessary refer them to further support offers (in descending order based on the length of their opening and consultation hours):
Child and Adolescent Emergency Service
The Child and Adolescent Emergency Service (KJND) offers out-patient social-pedagogical help in acute crises. In the case of an acute danger to minors and their attachment persons, the Child and Adolescent Emergency Service offers out-patient help and also the possibility of in-patient admission day and night. There is a special residential and counselling offer for maltreated as well as psychologically and sexually at-risk or abused girls from the age of 13 years.

Youth Psychiatric Service
The Youth Psychiatric Service (JpD) is located at the local health authorities in all Hamburg districts and offers short-term support in crisis situations.
It offers free-of-charge counselling and help for babies, toddlers, schoolchildren, and adolescents as well as their parents and attachment persons. The Youth Psychiatric Service provides check-ups, diagnosis and treatment for developmental delays and disabilities and also review whether, for example, measures of youth aid (SGB VIII [Social Insurance Code]) or integration aid (SGB XII) can be utilised.
In Hamburg, there are seven district authorities and therefore also seven Youth Psychiatric Services which are each responsible for their respective district. In the Authority finder of the City of Hamburg, you can find your responsible district authority and therefore also your responsible Youth Psychiatric Service with addresses and opening times.

Youth Psychological / Psychiatric Service
The Youth Psychological / Psychiatric Service (JPPD) supports young people with psychosocial and psychological problems and their caregivers who are receiving support from the youth welfare office, or for whom corresponding help is planned.

Clinics for child and adolescent psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine, and psychotherapy
The clinics for child and adolescent psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine, and psychotherapy in Hamburg offer out-patient, day-patient, and in-patient treatment. They also offer child and adolescent diagnosis, initiation into out-patient therapies as well as emergency treatment for acute crises.

Some counselling centres offer support in crises.

Specialist physicians and psychotherapists
Within their capacities, registered child and adolescent psychiatrists and psychotherapists also offer support in crises.

The counsellors offer answers to questions, help in emergencies and advice on all themes that could cause stress and worries. During the week, you can reach adult counsellors, and on Saturdays from 2pm to 8pm young counsellors aged between 16 and 21 years also answer the telephone. Through the website of the child and adolescent telephone hotline there is also Advice via email.
